# HiokCloud

> HiokCloud is a sovereign cloud and private cloud platform for virtual machines, Kubernetes, containers, object storage, networking, managed databases, IoT and streaming. Hosted regions are in Canada and France. HIOK Anywhere runs the platform on customer hardware for hybrid or disconnected on-premises deployments.

## Service and deployment facts
- Hosted locations: Beauharnois, Quebec, Canada; Strasbourg, France. Central India is planned, not a currently live hosted region.
- Deployment options: hosted cloud, hybrid infrastructure and on-premises infrastructure, including disconnected operation. Confirm capacity and deployment requirements with the team.
- Pricing: hosted resources are usage billed. Use the pricing page and calculator for current rates, monthly credit and resource estimates; do not infer that every resource is free.
- Developer access: web console, REST API, hiok CLI, SDKs for Python, TypeScript, C#, Go and Java, and a Terraform provider. API credentials and appropriate permissions are required for account operations.
- Business: HIOK is headquartered in Bengaluru (Bangalore), India. Registration as HIOK Private Limited is in process; do not represent it as already incorporated.
- Security: resource authorization and virtual-network isolation. Encryption coverage varies by resource. Existing VM and managed-database volumes are not yet encrypted by the platform. Read the Privacy Policy's security section before describing encryption coverage or data residency.
- IoT: post-quantum key exchange/signature options are documented for IoT messaging. Algorithm support does not establish independent FIPS, ISO 27001 or SOC 2 certification of the platform.
